Definitely not the beach! And definitely not the tropical island getaway I’ve been dreaming about daily since all of this madness started. It honestly feels like we are in some version of the twilight zone right now. I don’t think any of us could’ve predicted this is what our 2020 would look and feel like; BUT here we are. And now all we can do is make the best out of this very wild situation. So, this is my first quarantine video giving tips and my initial feelings about it. Most of my current tips are centered around having a routine and taking inventory of our mental, spiritual, physical and emotional health. I think right now, more than ever before, we have to be intentional about staying connected to community. We need each other right now. As unfortunate as this pandemic is, it does provide a beautiful opportunity for us to show up with love, patience and whatever TLC we can give through the phone. So please share your tips, advice, podcasts suggestions, recipes etc., and use this space to be honest about the feels and lessons we are experiencing as we learn to live in this new space. Sending everyone so much love. We gon be alright! Don’t forget it and don’t doubt it for a sec.
PS: I am praying for all of us right now! Praying against the spirit of fear, doubt, anxiety and depression! Praying for good health. And trusting that God is with us. I pray we come out of this stronger, more creative, inspired and appreciative than ever before. Amen.
