STOP FEELING GUILTY: ALL THE FEELS.

Today, I get real honest and slightly emotional (TEARS FOR THE FIRST TIME) about feelings. More specifically, the guilt that some of us feel surrounding any negative feels we might be experiencing right now. If you’re anything like me, you may be feeling a range of emotions really dependent on the hour or day. You may also feel guilty about complaining at all because you realize that you are on the luckier ones impacted by this virus- maybe you are able to work from home, have good health, family is safe and well, no financial hardships overall, etc.. But I want everyone to know that you are allowed to FEEL it all. You don't have to carry guilt for having off or straight up BAD moments surrounding this very crazy life event. FEEL BOLDLY. We have permission and should make space to feel honestly and boldly right now and always. Make space for those feels. Be honest and open with people close to you or a trusted therapist or mentor. Feeling emotions is a healthy sign that you are very human. So I challenge everyone to embrace whatever emotions come with this season and please, stop shaming yourself for not having it 100% together. Again, you are not alone. I SEE YOU! One day at a time.
